Ausiello: A wholly unbiased source at the show tells me that Monday’s episode is “classic 24” in that it both crackles with suspense and features a lot of Jack and Chloe. It also boasts what the insider calls a “heart-wrenching performance” from Mare Winningham as the mother of a young terrorist recruit and lots of Jack and Chloe.
The young terrorist recruit Ausiello is talking about is a character Marcos Al-Zacar (played by Rami Malek). He first appeared in this most recent episode of 24, alerting Samir to Farhad’s escape.

It’s funny, but on IMDB Mare Winningham isn’t listed as one of the guest stars on 24 and 24 isn’t listed under her name as one of the show’s she’s done.
