I think Chloe will shoot him at his request. The promo vids clearly show that he gets shot and its in the same room where Chloe is seen holding a gun to someone. He only has 1 more person to kill and that is Suvarov, since he gave the order to Kill renee…thats who he is ultimately after, and after that he doesnt care what happens.

Exept the fact the Howard Gordon has already gone on record that Jack will NOT die in the finale. But it is true about the Canon thing. From what I understand, the Movies and the TV series will be two separate entities and separate franchises.

Here’s my guess of how it all goes down. Jack can’t live with himself anymore after the days tragic events, and what he did in the name of justice. Jack straps a suicide vest to himself. Chloe has to talk him down. She tells Jack, “Shut it down”. He does, the embrace. Fade to black.
