Watching the best television show of all time and potentially getting paid thousands of dollars for doing so? It doesn’t get any better than this, folks. 24 cast members will be there too if you needed any more incentive.

CTU is recruiting the most die-hard “24” fans! To celebrate the DVD release of “24” The Complete Series, CTU is hosting The “24” Marathon Fanfest in Hollywood, California.

At 20:00 on 2 December 2010, participants will watch back-to-back Jack (continuous episodes of “24” starting with season one) until there is only one fan remaining. The winning fan will potentially set a new world record for longest TV viewing (currently just over 3 days) and receive $10,000 in cold, hard cash.

If you choose to accept this assignment, email [email protected] for further information.

Additionally, a Fan Fest area will be set up outside of the viewing arena where spectators can watch the participants, see actual props from the show and meet cast members.

UPDATE: I asked FOX to answer some of the questions I’ve been asked and here’s what I’ve been told. There WILL be bathroom breaks during the marathon event – the current plan is every five to six hours. You must be a minimum of 18 years old to participate. And there’s no list of cast members scheduled to attend as those details aren’t locked down yet.

Same here, Bill!

Wondering if everyone is at least allowed to go potty? Lol.

Why oh why can I not have taken up a post-grad course which would’ve been flexible enough for me to attend this?!
