I think Kate husband is alive and somehow involve in this maybe to bring Jack Bauer out of hiding so the russian could grab him

While I love that theory they won’t use that story line again they did that in season 5 when jack was taken by the Chinese. I think the ending is going to be totally unexpected.

Maybe Kate’s husband wasn’t the one selling secrets to China and that he was framed. By Navarro perhaps?

Oh yes, I wish! He was definitely one of the best characters ever throughout the series. It just would be the icing on the cake if he were in it. Also, I wish Aaron Pierce would appear, I thought he was fantastic in the other seasons, especially season 5.

If the first six episodes cover the first six hours, then they have six episodes to cover 18 hours. When are they going to skip time?

It looks like it’s chronological through 9.08 at least, then they skip time, and the last four hours are all in a row, which would mean a time jump of 12 hours probably between 9.08 & 9.09.

Just saw a sneak peek of episode 5, and it looks like the bait is some arms dealer who’s been dealing with Margot. Also, it’s confirmed weeks ago that the first 8 episodes will cover the first 8 hours.
