Carlos Bernard Does The Ice Bucket Challenge

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has gone viral on social media with many celebrities also getting into the mix to raise awareness for ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or “Lou Gehrig’s Disease”). Carlos Bernard is the latest celeb to participate in the challenge. Watch below as he gets dunked with a little help from his eleven year old daughter Natalie.

The rules of the Ice Bucket Challenge are simple – participants either dump a bucket of ice water over their heads or donate $100 (though many are doing both). After completing the challenge you can then nominate three other people who must do the challenge in 24 hours.

The ALS Association said today that it has received $53.3 million in donations since July 29th. That’s up from $2.2 million raised during the same time period last year. If you’d like to donate and help spread awareness about ALS, head over to www.alsa.org.
