Kiefer mentions the 24 movie (hopes to shoot in January, Tony Scott is interested in directing), his upcoming internet series The Confession (late March premiere, possibly releasing three episodes at a time), and his Broadway play That Champsionship Season.
Kiefer Sutherland spoke about the upcoming 24 movie, saying that it won’t be set in real time (obviously – can you imagine watching a 24 hour movie?), but will instead be a two hour representation of a single day. More excitingly, it seems like they’re getting closer to hiring a director (earlier this month, Tony Scott was in discussions to direct).
“Some amazing filmmakers have made themselves available to make the film, so we’re very excited,” Sutherland said. “It’s going to look, I think, very different from the show,” said Kiefer.
Kiefer Sutherland is visiting Japan on November 16th to promote the upcoming 24 Season 8 DVD release reports Cinema Today Japan. Here are some Japanese promotional photos/artwork of Jack Bauer.
At the 24 Season 8 DVD launch in the UK, they put Mary Lynn Rajskub in the center of a room full of fans with Jack Bauer masks. Brilliant, and somewhat creepy! Fun stuff. Click the image for full-size.

24‘s Mary Lynn Rajskub arrives at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards on August 8, 2010. Mary Lynn was nominated for choice TV actress along with co-star Katee Sackhoff, but both of them lost to Yvonne Strahovski of Chuck.
Funny stuff, as for 24-related information she says “I’m kinda going up against Jack in a big way” also that the scenes between her and Kiefer in the last week of the finale were very emotional.
The first couple of minutes are about his new Broadway show “Enron” but the 24 stuff starts at the 3:40 mark. No real spoilers or anything, but it’s always interesting to watch Itzin.
