“That’s a wrap on CTU. Taken last night around 10pm PT. These are the season 8, CTU regulars, you may not know by name (or face). Photo taken by Jason Gutierrez“.
24 Season 8 CTU extras wrap photo
Thanks Beau Bowden for sending this in (he’s the guy standing second from right and plays a CTU Field Agent in 24 Season 8).
Here are pictures from todays filming on the 24 series finale (the crews last day filming on-location). They are pretty spoilerish (who knows, there’s a chance the shots at the bottom may even be the series final scene), so cover your eyes if you don’t wanna see.
From Splash News
It appears from these shots that an extremely wounded Jack Bauer is crawling out of the wreckage of an overturned ambulance when he is grabbed by four men in gas masks who throw a bag over his head and whisk him away.
Here’s some set pictures from 24 Season 8 episodes 23-24.
Jack’s back! 24 came back downtown for the finale episode filming. This time they set up shop on Main St between 6th and 7th streets in the Historic Core. At the time I didn’t know that what they were shooting was for the final 2 hour episode, and now it makes perfect sense why they were a little curious who the guy with the camera was. I believe this scene takes place toward the very end of the finale, where Jack has been corned into a utility closet by CTU.

These were taken yesterday meaning they’re for the episode 21/22 pair. Nothing really all that spoiler-ish here, just some NYPD cars. But hey, at least it’s something. Thanks to Bettychoochoo for the pics.
**EXCLUSIVE** Kiefer Sutherland and co-star Katee Sackhoff gear up and film scenes on the streets of Downtown LA for the Emmy and Golden Globe award winning show “24″. The Fox TV series stars Kiefer Sutherland as Agent Jack Bauer whose co-star Katee Sackhoff plays Dana Walsh, a computer analyst who has a background she’s trying to keep hidden. Both Sackhoff and Sutherland are seen with guns and running down empty streets in Downtown LA. In between takes, Sutherland re-loads his prop gun and takes direction from crew members. Apparently, cops were called to the scene since the noise disruption was thought to be a real gun shooting in the area. (February 2, 2010 – Photo by PacificCoastNews.com)

The Copper Spoon blog reports on recent 24 filming along with some pictures:
From Wednesday through Friday, the cast of the hit Fox show 24 took over the lobby, elevators and outdoor area of my office building, One Bunker Hill. Kiefer Sutherland and gang could be seen throughout the day acting in various different scenes, from some sort of bank heist, to action scenes in the elevators and on-foot chases overtaking the sidewalks.

This is for a scene in 24 Season 8 episode 15.
At the end of January, Fox Television’s Emmy Award winning drama 24 blocked off Wilshire Blvd from Grand to Flower for this shoot. Mostly driving scenes were being filmed here, with the black car above being driven by Kiefer Sutherland and stunt double. Surprisingly the permit area was very accessible by pedestrians passing by. A cherry picker was set up on Hope with 3 cameras capturing a birds eye view. Here they prep for a another pass with the black Hyundai Genesis coupe driven by Kiefer’s double.

Update (April 27): These photos were taken in mid-December during filming for Episode 18 (which Aaron Pierce was not in) which you can tell by the fact that Cherry Jones is on the CTU set (Taylor visited CTU during that episode).
This unfortunately means Glenn Morshower was simply visiting the set in these particular photos. Let’s hope Pierce still shows up in 24 Season 8!
No idea when these photos were taken or the story behind them, but hopefully Glenn was on the set as an actor and not simply visiting his old friends to say hi! Aaron Pierce is the only character besides Jack Bauer to appear in all seven seasons of the show and I’d like that streak to continue.

Thanks Kim for the photos!
More pictures from the 24 set for episodes 15/16 directed by Brad Turner. The scene being filmed involved Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) running out of a building with lots of pigeons around him. You can also see Renee Walker (Annie Wersching) in a bulletproof vest and President Hassan’s wife (Necar Zadegan) and daughter Kayla (Nazneen Contractor). They appear to be hailing a taxi. Oddly though, no sign of Anil Kapoor (President Hassan) anywhere on set – feel free to speculate what that means for the fate of his character.

Today we have more behind the scenes photos from the 24 Season 8 promo that was filmed in Chinatown, New York City last week (October 2nd 2009). In them we see Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) on the rooftop of an apartment complex, in an alley way with his gun drawn, and standing on top of a taxi cab. John Walsh of America’s Most Wanted (another FOX television show) has recently visited the 24 set. Rodney Charters, the Director of Photography on 24 has posted two pictures from the visit: one of him posing with Walsh and another with Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe O’Brian).

It just wouldn’t be 24 if Kim Bauer wasn’t getting herself in trouble. Here’s some set pictures of Elisha Cuthbert being doused with flame retardant gel and filming a scene in the 24 Season 7 finale where Kim escapes a car accident and her arm catches on fire. Hey, at least it’s not quite as ridiculous as getting stuck in a bear trap.

Official high-quality behind the scenes photos from the set of 24 Redemption in South Africa. Three fantastic shots of Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer and one with Siyabulela Ramba who plays Willie. Kiefer really did that explosion stunt himself? Wow!
