“The things I really love about 24 is the emotional aspect of all these different characters, so that when there is action going on or there is something exploding, or someone is about to die… You’re so much more invested. So I think the emotional element combined with the action is what really sort of set the stakes so high.”
“I think it was in season 5 and I was sitting in the hair and makeup chair and I was getting ready for a scene and I had my script in front of me. They sometimes have televisions in the hair and makeup trailers, and the news was on. I was reading a scene and I remember thinking, wait, it’s echoing what’s happening in the script. The writers are sometimes so ahead of what’s happening that the news and 24 are very interchangeable.”
