Episode 8 of Kiefer Sutherland’s The Confession is live on Hulu. There’s also a short Behind the Scenes from the episode. Next week (Monday, May 2nd) is the big two part season finale.
Here’s an interview where Necar Zadegan (24‘s Dalia Hassan) reminisces about working on the series and her Broadway debut in Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.
“I miss it. It’s a wonderful show, a wonderful show to work on. All the actors are so solid on that show and the writers and the producers… It just makes your job so much easier, you can just show up and work. I love working with Cherry Jones. She’s a New Yorker, we actually just had lunch the other day. It was great to see her again. She’s brilliant to work with. We really got the opportunity to work opposite each other in 24 and she’s just a wonderful actress. She gives a lot, she gives you a lot — and that feels really good because you have a lot to work off of.”
Elisha Cuthbert has a new comedy series on ABC called Happy Endings and it seems like the writers of that show couldn’t resist the urge to throw in a cougar dig. The 24 episode where Kim Bauer gets stuck in an animal trap while a cougar looms over her aired on February 4, 2003 and jokes are still being made about it in 2011. Poor Elisha will never live that down. Watch the funny clip below:
“What if you were like stuck in a trap in the woods, and like a cougar was trying to eat you. Would you date then? Maybe your dad is the head of some elite counter terrorist unit and he only has 24 hours to — I don’t know… The point is, would you date?”
While promoting her new ABC comedy series Happy Endings on Good Morning America, the inevitable “24 movie” question came up and Elisha Cuthbert said she hopes to be a part of it. You know, the same thing she said four years ago and the dozens of times she’s been asked in the years since. Nothing new here, but posting for the sake of completeness.
Somewhat of a special episode of The Confession this week. Not only is it the longest episode of the series (and best so far, in my opinion), but this episode reunites Kiefer Sutherland and Greg Ellis (24 Season 3 villain Michael Amador). There’s also a behind the scenes that you can watch here.
Kiefer Sutherland’s video address at the 2011 IAB Digital Video Marketplace introducing his new web series, “The Confession,” and a conference session on the value of original web-distributed branded content.
Kiefer Sutherland isn’t the only 24 star with a web series. Xander Berkeley, better known to 24 fans as George Mason has an internet series called The Booth at the End. Making an appearance in a few episode is his wife Sarah Clarke (24‘s Nina Myers) who plays a nun named Sister Carmel. Here’s the trailer:
Unlike The Confession which is posted weekly, The Booth at the End is a daily show with 62 episodes (so far 26 have been released). The first episode can be watched on YouTube but the rest seem limited to http://thebooth.fxuk.com/ (UK only). If you’d rather watch them all at once, you’ve got your chance on April 11th at 11PM on FX UK, where it’ll be presented as five 22-minute episodes.
Canadians can watch the entire thing here. It seems like the US is left out this time for a change.
Update: just got this email from someone on the project:
I’m working with Fox on the project and thought you’d like to know that there is a global site for the series at http://theboothattheend.tv which should redirect to the country specific site based on the visitors location.
There is also a game that accompanies the series at http://www.canyoukill.tv to test the morals of the player – would you kill for the thing you want?
Hulu has just put The Confession online. You’ll need to have a Hulu account in order to view it because of “mature themes”. And of course Hulu is US only… Here are the embed links: [click to continue…]
Gregory Mantell interviewed 24‘s Howard Gordon about the show, the 24 movie, his novel Gideon’s War, working with Jon Voight, Kiefer Sutherland, his upcoming series Homeland, and more.
Here’s Kiefer Sutherland’s full interview on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He talks about the 24 movie, his Broadway play That Championship Season, his upcoming internet series The Confession (along with a brief clip), tweeting, and more.
Update: Ugh, seems like TwitVid has removed the video already, so I’ve reuploaded it here. If you’ve embedded that video on your site already please update with this new one. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Kiefer Sutherland and co-star Jim Gaffigan were on The View to promote their Broadway play That Championship Season. Kiefer was then asked about his former co-star Charlie Sheen. And lastly, he gets asked about the 24 movie (skip to 8:45 for that). Kiefer’s response was: “It will come out in the Summer of 2012.”
24 fan DillonB1234 has created this awesome music tribute using Symphobia, FL Studio, and Pianoteq.
“It’s sad, but there’s hope for a movie and Jack’s still alive so it’s triumphant towards the end. I LOVE Sean Callery’s music and I love composing, so I made this based on the main themes of 24,” he says. Definitely worth a listen!
