Eriq La Salle joins 24 cast, playing UN Secretary General

24 is bringing in a TV veteran to help save Jack’s latest (and possibly last) bad day: Eriq La Salle has signed on to appear in this season’s final two episodes, sources confirm to me exclusively.

The former ER doc will play the charming and regal UN Secretary General.

Brendan March 26, 2010 at 8:26 pm: I watched him as Benton on ER. Appeared in first 8 seasons of ER and made two appearances in the final season of it, including the series finale.
