Kiefer Sutherland has revealed he tried to move in with his co-star Carlos Bernard.
The 43-year-old actor is best known for his portrayal of top federal agent Jack Bauer in hit US drama 24, which ended this year after eight seasons.
Kiefer gets on incredibly well with his co-stars from the show, notably 48-year-old Carlos Bernard who plays Tony Almeida.
The two actors once enjoyed such a fun night out that Kiefer suggested they move in together, although Carlos’ actress wife Sharisse Baker wasn’t too keen on the idea.
“Earlier this year Carlos Bernard and I went to a party and didn’t leave until 5am. I tried to move in with him that night and he said, ‘Maybe…’ and his wife said, ‘No’,” laughed Kiefer in an interview with Empire.
The talented actor cites working alongside Carlos as one of the ultimate highlights of starring in 24. Kiefer still keeps in touch with many of the actors who have had roles in the programme over the past decade.
“The incredible friends I’ve made,” he responded when asked what the best thing about making the show was.
“I still see Leslie Hope, who played my wife (Teri Bauer) and was killed in season one.”
