Feature Film

The 24 movie was originally planned to film in 2007 between the sixth and seventh seasons with series co-creators Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran writing the screenplay. In early 2010 Billy Ray was hired to write the new screenplay. This script was rejected later that year by FOX, with writer Mark Bomback approached to rework it. A script was completed and filming was planned for April 2012 but was delayed due to budget and scheduling reasons. The movie is currently scheduled to film in Summer 2013.
