Joel Surnow promises “provocative ending” for 24 Season 4

Ausiello: Executive producer Joel Surnow says not to expect a cliff-hanger like Season 2’s toxic handshake. “But,” he adds, “it’s gonna be a provocative ending.” When I asked him whether there will be a cast purge similar to the one we saw at the beginning of this season, he replied, “I’m sure a lot of our people are going to be back, but because of where we end this season, it’s going to be a little tricky in terms of coming up with next season’s story lines.” Hmmmm…
