24: Live Another Day’s first hour starts 12:00pm-1:00pm

24 showrunner Howard Gordon has tweeted a picture of the 24: Live Another Day script cover which reveals the first episode takes place between 12:00PM – 1:00PM Per an earlier Jon Cassar tweet, we know the second hour takes place 1:00PM – 2:00PM. This means the two hour premiere on May 5th takes place entirely in real time with no hours being skipped in-between.

As with the other script, it seems producers are referring to this as “Day 9” internally. The first hour was written by Manny Coto and Evan Katz and is being directed by Jon Cassar.

Kiefer mentioned in the IGN interview about Jack “getting on a plane to Berlin in episode three”… wonder if that was him inadvertently divulging a plot point or just him speaking in a general sense to underline a point?

Guess we’ll find out soon enough…

I’m guessing Kiefer was just giving an example.

They shoot two episodes at a time (out of sequence I believe), so if there’s going to be a significant time jump it would most likely occur at the end of an episode pair (4, 6, 8, or 10). I think that makes the most sense from a production standpoint.

It’ll be very interesting to see how they handle this.

Not sure what the photo of the ’24’ script next to Season 4 script for ‘Homeland’ is supposed to suggest…..is Howard planning a crossover with Carrie jumping in to help Jack? LOL

Homeland is wank! Keep it away from 24.

Nice callback to the pilot hour, switched around.
