Sara Gilbert and Aisha Tyler, who both worked with Kiefer Sutherland, defend his professionalism in reaction to Freddie Prinze Jr. saying that Sutherland was “the most unprofessional dude in the world” and almost made him quit acting.
Sarah Gilbert (played Paula Schaeffer in 24 Season 2):
“I worked with Kiefer on 24 and he was amazing, so polite, always there for our scenes. So when [Freddie] says everyone had that experience, it’s just not true.”
Aisha Tyler (played Marianne Taylor in 24 Season 4):
“I worked on 24 as well, I had exactly the same experience. In fact there were days where our characters had phone conversations, and he would come in. He didn’t have to shoot that day at all and he would come in to read his off-camera lines which never happens on a show; usually you have some stand-in or an assistant do that. He was incredibly present, so polite, sweet to everybody, knew everyones name.”
