Carlos is not listed as a guest star….

That’s surprising. I thought he would be in the entire second half.

P.S. CTU on lockdown again?

Tony id not among the cast!

FWIW, Carlos Bernard’s IMDB profile lists him in the final 6 episodes of ‘Legacy’….

No Tony?! Ugh. I was hoping he’d keep my dwindling interest throughout the second half of the season.

Horrible thought – what If they kill Tony off (again, but for real this time)?

I’ll be so done with the show. I want my Jack and Tony “one last tour” godammit.

I’d be done with the show. That would be the final nail in the coffin for me.

Now imagine if baby faced Carter is the one to kill him…

Don’t get me wrong, I like Carter. I think of him as the garlic bread which you can enjoy until the pizza (i.e. Tony arrives). But if I’d known there wasn’t going to be much pizza, I wouldn’t have shown up at all in the first place.

I don’t 100% dislike Carter, but he exhibits nowhere near the level of badassery of Jack or Tony, as hard as they try. Carter just looks like a baby wielding a toy gun.

Basically I wanted pizza from the start!

Didn’t we all chief!

I don’t know though. Didn’t the press release announcing Tony’s return mention something about this Sidra character instigating feelings of distrust between Tony and Rebecca? According to the press releases, this is the first episode she appears in, so…

Sidra appears in episode 7 and you can see actually see her in the promo if you look carefully (she’s inside a split screen at the ~10 second mark). So I think the cast info on these press releases simply might be a tad off. Cause it’d be weird for Sidra to be in this episode but not Tony, considering they’re sort of a package deal.

Also I just noticed that Ben Grimes is listed even though he was killed in the fifth episode.

True enough! The press releases aren’t known for being completely accurate. Thanks for the reassurance.

Also, I think the actor is listed in the cast if only they appear in the “Previously on 24” at the beginning..

I wonder if the Bin Khalid crisis will be resolved by Ep 8, it feels a new threat will emerge in this episode.

Tony’s may have an episode off – similar to how he wasn’t in some of season 7

Fucken predictive text

Possibly, Marlon. It just seems odd given that there are so few episodes.

Well possibly, quite possibly Brad…maybe Tony is in the episode

and maybe they left him out of the cast list so us nerds can whinge about his omission so they can have a laugh at our expense?

Far out

No need to get so worked up. Unless I’m misinterpreting your post.

WHERE’S TONY?

Eric Carter is meant to be a different character to Jack. You cannot compare the two. 24 Legacy is more enjoyable if you do not compare Legacy to the original 24. You have to watch 24 Legacy with an open mind to love the show. 24 Legacy is a separate show that takes place in the same universe. If you compare the two u will find yourself not liking it.

I find myself not liking you, Justin. You’re as repetitive as the plots they come up with on this show.

Even if the original series with the Jack Bauer character is put aside when watching ‘Legacy’, we’ve all seen action series and movies with different actors that are believable as an action hero. The actor’s appearance, physical stature, voice, demeanor all contribute to whether an audience can buy into their character.

The ‘Legacy’ writers may have had a believable idea in mind of basing the reboot around an ex-military special ops character being the lead (just as Bauer was) but the producers totally dropped the ball when they cast someone with a baby-faced, scrawny physique like Cory Hawkins to play the part. His choice makes me think back more to ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ than any successful action show even when ’24’ is taken out of the mix – just because he may have been believable as a gang member with a scowl in ‘Compton’ doesn’t make him convincing as a guy battling terrorists.

…..And after having such a miscast mirage chosen for the lead actor, they compounded the mistake by choosing supporting cast members that portray cardboard characters without a semblance of interest. Be it the 3 main actors in the CTU setting, the 2 main actors in the Isaac/Nicole/gangland setting or the 3 main actors in the campaign setting (and I used to like Jimmy Smits but he’s phoning it in on this role), the entourage doesn’t bring anything to elevate what feels like a regurgitated plot and storylines.

I chalk the entire thing as a failed experiment by FOX where a lot of poor choices were made right after the original writers and producers were brought back.

is Tony in this episode?

Maybe the reason for the lockdown is they realize there is still a mole inside CTU? That way they can keep him/her from escaping.

I’m a bit worried that they bring Tony back to kill him off.

But is Tony in this episode? yes or no

I’d say so as his sidekick Sidra is in it – the cast list is not correct – he’s totally in it

Yes, but he’s not in Ep 9.

Maybe he’s killed by Sidra at the end of Ep 8.

I don’t think that will happen. That would be a terrible twist, for Tony to survive so much and die this way (even worse than being “killed” by Henderson) plus I think Tony’s just too capable to let her just kill him.

Sidra’s scenes are very hot by the way she is cooler here than in Tyrant I think this character fits her better.

tony is in episode 9. the press release is inaccurate

Are you Stynes?

Maybe Tony is not in the Guest Cast list because he’s in the Main Cast. I mean this Main Cast is obviously wrong, Ben Grimes died long ago,

I think Tony Will be in this episode. I think it was just an error int he list of cast.

I think he’ll return in E10, but not in E9.
