Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub cameo on SNL’s “The Beygency” skit

Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub made a surprise cameo on Saturday Night Live, in what has to be the coolest promotional appearance for 24: Live Another Day yet.

In the skit, Andrew Garfield confesses his dislike of Beyonce’s hit song “Drunk in Love” and quickly finds himself running for his life from “The Beygency,” a secret shadow-y government agency that eliminates anyone who dare criticize Beyonce.

Garfield gets some surprise assistance by Rihanna fans Jack Bauer and Chloe O’Brian who try and help him flee the country. But when Jack and Chloe agree that Beyonce only has a single good song, they quickly get shot in the head by The Beygency. Damn it!

Tragically unfunny!

Beyonce, Rihanna, and everyone involved in this skit need battering to death with bits of wood.

You really are the resident kill-joy around here, aren’t you? I thought it was a funny appearance by them in an otherwise meandering skit.

I prefer resident realist and handsome bastard.

SNL should book Kiefer Sutherland as host next season if that’s the case. I’m hoping that SNL should do a 24 sketch sometime in the near future.

I thought it was the only funny part of a shitty episode!

And I actually think Mary Lynn Rajskub would be much better suited to host SNL.

They are both excellent here though. Love this
