Update: Since a few have asked, according to the file names of the images, the Logan/Taylor pic, Chloe gun pic, and CTU group pic are from episode 24 while all the Jack Bauer ones take place in episode 23. And to get even more detailed on timeline – the Chloe gun photo had “Sc14” (which I assume stands for scene 14) in the filename while the CTU group pic (which mentions them working to “save Jack’s life”) was “Sc37”.

This also shows that Charles Logan once again manages to survive being kidnapped by Jack. Shoot!

I am torn between wanted to see how this SEASON ends and KNOWING it is the last season, at least on FOX. I hope someone else will have the INTEGRITY to pick this up WITH KIEFER as JACK. COLE can’t cut the MUSTARD. I am in my 70’s and this is the most exciting show on TV and the only one worth watching. I just discovered “24” last summer on DVD at my small home town library. I thought “WHAT is THIS?” WOW was I in for a ride. Stayed up nights watching it and then drove to BEST BUYS to get Season 2. I now have Seasons 1 thru 7 and the “REDEMPTION” Movie. It keeps me on the edge of my seat.

looooove it!

Matthew,
You watch 24, you write on this blog, and you’re in your 70’s… Move over Jack Bauer, I think I just found my new hero! Someday I wanna be just like you, Matthew!

I want to see Jack bring justice and expose the President – I want a good ending for Jack – however I read that the ending will be a bitter sweet one. If all fans of Jack write in to the producers of the show demanding a good ending for Jack I will be so pleased.

Matthew,

Where can I find a man like you? I was the same as you, discovered 24 last summer and stayed up days on end just to catch up. Most men 20 years of your junior couldn’t stayed up with me. Anyone notice Chloe’s finger is not on the trigger? Hope her ultimate decision is wether or not to shoot Jack.

Jack probably realizes Logan isn’t behind Renee’s death.

Interesting to note that Chloe survives the gun scene because the CTU group picture is 23 scenes later.

Also, how many scenes do they tend to have in an episode? Does anyone know?

To those who have sent a kind hearted message to “Matthew”……..I think you meant to address it to “Twin 2”. Matthew, though probably a great guy in his own right, posted about Logan surviving another kidnapped attempt……but I agree with him that Jack should just shoot him and get it over with (except executing a former President, I would think is tantamount to treason and probably the death penalty) And we need him around to save the country again in “24 – The Movie” (Can’t they come up with a better, more original title??)

my opinion is that jack will kidnap logan in episode 23 or 24. think what you want but with the finale coming up the producers and FOX need some hype so they but it in the promo. Like it says in the press release. “Jack Bauer taking matters into his own hands for one last unforgettable job.” I think hes gonna get to novakovich to find about logan whereabouts, then in 23/24 we’ll c the ironman Jack Bauer in all black with the M4. Should close out well, started out soft but then the season turned when Kayla Hassan was kidnapped.

Some of these photos also seem to be before the finale. The 3rd picture seems to be from episode 21.

I hope CHLOE has her gun aimed at PILLAR and she is locking him down to get him OUT of THE WAY so CTU can SAVE JACK not kill him as PILLAR has been sent to do. She needs to TAKE CTU back and kick PILLAR out of the place of AUTHORITY. He mislead COLE that TAYLOR ordered JACK killed instead of telling him LOGAN was the weasel behind that assignment. “GO CHLOE!”

ALSO, WHAT is WRONG with COLE?? WHY is he mad at JACK when DANA proved over and over she could not be trusted? WHY isn’t his anger directed to DANA who made a fool out of him AGAIN, killed his HIGH SCHOOL buddy who was only helping them, killed their co-workers when she tried to escape CTU and knew COLE had helped kill and cover up the slayings of the two blackmailers plus was a SPY and TRAITOR. DANA was one less ENEMY JACK now has to deal with as he avenges RENEE untimely death and exposes the Cover UP.

Has anyone figured out what to watch on TV from June on, that can even come close to the adrenaline rush of ‘”24″ OR are we gonna all go into withdrawals and need counseling?!!!! Monday May 31st will be the longest day of our lives without “24”………
DAMMIT CHLOE !!!
On a side note…… I think our country could really use a real life “Jack Bauer” or two. I’m sure the govt corruption and homeland security threaths that you see on the show are going on in the real world and wouldn’t it be cool if there was a Jack Bauer out there trying to stop it. This show was one of the best TV dramas ever and will be missed !

Jack is going to kill President of Russia – THAT WUD BE SOMETHING INTERESTING- He is not going to let anyone escape – he is the one, who is ultimately accountable – this is not abt him saving the day, but getting vengance for Renee – a subplot can be thrown in – if the Russians try to kill Dahlia Hassan.Chloe will wound him but not kill him – If I was a scriptwriter I wud dfntly put these in.It will end with Jack dying …

This show must go on, I would hope another channel will be picking it up, we need more Jack and Chloe!!!!

This is (plus the 5th season) the best season EVER! BEST TV SHOW EVER ! Greetings from Frankfurt / Germany !

I love 24 and Im really excited about episode 22.I hate to hear that season8 also will not have a happy ending for Jack.
So after Prison Break and Life , this will be the 3rd Series I love that will end.
There will be only Dexter left but we will have to wait for september for that to happen.

having been a rabid fan of 24 since the start am pleased that theyve taken Jacks gloves off. Over the last two seasons Ive gotten sick of Jack never really doing anything when hed have a bad guy in his hands. Sure hed shoot and kill a small army but whenever he would have a chance to actually make someone pay hed let them go. Nice to see the trigger finally pulled and the sim card cut out…lol

Hope Chloe shoots some sense into Jack. ;-)

So what if Jack has been a double agent working against the U.S. from the beginning?

The series ends in a cliffhanger. Jack, Cole, Chloe and a revived Tony end it in wild shootout. Silent countdown. Noone knows who died. Queue the Journey music.

Maybe Jack gets put in a nuthouse at the end?
